Service Information


Service Objectives

  • By adopting a district-based approach, provides one-stop community support services for persons with disabilities and their family members / carers, in order to enhance the domestic living and community living skills for persons with disabilities so as to facilitate their integration into the community
  • To provide training and support services to the family members / carers of persons with disabilities so as to strengthen their caring capacity and to relieve their stress.

  • Persons with disabilities living in the community (6 years old or above)
  • Family members / carers of persons with disabilities)
  • Community at large

Service Content

  • Centre and home training
    Day training service and  Training plan for individuals
  • Personal development activities
    Long term/Short term groups  and one-off themed activities
  • Case management
    Social Work interventions according to the needs of service users
  • Professional interventions
    Clinical Psychological Service/ Physiotherapy/ Occupational Therapy/ Speech Therapy
  • Daytime community Support
    Day respite services/ Escort service/ Home respite service
  • Family members and Carers supports
    Activities, Seminars and Parent-Child programs
  • Community connection
    Community Educations and Promotions/ Inclusion activities/ Volunteer development
  • Drop-in service
    Providing leisure facilities to members within the opening hours of the centre

Application Procedures

Users can directly approach DSC for services or referred by other units

Membership Application Form & Instructions

Fees and Charges

Membership fee: $21 per year

Day respite:$5.1 per hour^

Individual supports:$33 per hour^

Home rehabilitation service (Physiotherapy / Occupational Therapy:$52 per session*

Transportation service:$10 per trip

Fees for other services and activities depend on the specific charges.

^1 hour as a unit

*45 minutes as a unit
