    [Reservation] Is the campsite limited to rehabilitation groups and individuals only?

    A

    No. Registered non-profit organizations, churches, schools, businesses, or individuals in Hong Kong can apply to rent the campsite and facilities on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to rehabilitation groups.

    [Reservation] Can someone other than the applicant or team leader handle the check-in procedures?

    A

    Check-in procedures must be handled by the applicant. If necessary, you can contact campsite staff to make arrangements.

    [Reservation] What are the check-in/check-out and room key collection times, and can early check-in or late check-out be arranged?

    A

    Check-in/Check-out times are as follows:

    Day Camp: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
    Overnight Camp: 3:00 pm to 1:30 pm the following day
    Twilight Camp: 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm

    To arrange early check-in or late check-out, campers will be required to apply for a Day Camp or Twilight Camp and pay the relevant fees.

    [Reservation] Are children charged a fee?

    A

    Children aged three and above are required to pay the full fee, while those under three can enjoy a half-price fee. For every 10 full-paying campers, one child under three is exempt from fees, and so on.

    [Reservation] Does the camping fee include meals or activities?

    A

    Meals and activities require separate booking and payment of relevant fees. Only after confirming the camping period can applicants proceed with activity and meal requests.

    [Reservation] If you want to cancel the camping period after booking, can the fees already paid be refunded?

    A

    Fees paid for the camping period, meals, and activities are non-refundable in case of self-cancellation.

    【Dormitory Rooms】Can men and women stay in the same room?

    A

    No, except for family members.

    [Dormitory Rooms] My family has 8 members and wants to stay in a 7-person room; can an additional bed be added?

    A

    This depends on room availability and can be arranged separately. Please contact campsite staff if needed.

    [Dormitory Rooms] Are refrigerators, electric kettles, hairdryers, slippers, safes, or personal hygiene items (such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, shower gel) provided in the rooms?

    A

    The rooms are equipped with hairdryers, but campers must bring their own personal hygiene and cleaning supplies. Additionally, the dining hall has a self-service hot and cold water dispenser and a communal refrigerator for campers to use. Storage lockers are available in the clubhouse; please contact campsite staff if needed.

    [Dormitory Rooms] Do the rooms have air conditioning? Are there any restrictions on operating hours?

    A

    Yes, air conditioning operates during the room rental period. To conserve energy, please adjust the air conditioning temperature to 23-25 degrees Celsius and turn off all power sources when leaving the room.

    [Dormitory Rooms] Is free Wi-Fi provided in the rooms?

    A

    Free Wi-Fi is provided; please contact campsite staff if needed.

    [Services and Facilities] What activities are available at the campsite, and are there limits on the number of participants? How can I make a reservation/register?

    A

    Activities have different participant limits; please refer to the Campsite Activity Application Form for details. Click here to download

    [Services and Facilities] Can activities be registered on the same day?

    A

    Since the campsite needs to arrange activity instructors in advance, activities must be booked at least three weeks before check-in.

    [Services and Facilities] Do the activity rooms have air conditioning? What equipment is available in the activity rooms? Is there an additional charge for extra supplies (such as tables, chairs, markers, etc.)?

    A

    The activity rooms are equipped with air conditioning and basic facilities. For additional supplies, please contact campsite staff, and charges may apply as needed.

    [Services and Facilities] What are the pool's opening hours? Is there a fee?

    A

    The pool is open from May to October, from 9:15 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:15 pm to 5:00 pm. For details, please refer to the Swimming Pool and Water Activities Application Form. Click here to download

    [Services and Facilities] If facilities or items inside the campsite are damaged or accidentally damaged, how should it be handled?

    A

    Campers should immediately inform camp staff for follow-up. Depending on the situation, campers may need to compensate for any related losses at market value.

    [Dining] Can I book meals at the same time as booking a camp? How are meal charges calculated?

    A

    No need to. Applicants only need to fill out the required forms and submit them to the camp office three weeks before check-in, and meal costs should be paid when ordering, as payment is final and cannot be changed or canceled.

    The number of diners must match the number of meal orders; discrepancies will result in the campsite requesting payment of the difference.

    [Dining] What should be done if a camper requires vegetarian, food-sensitive, or other special dietary needs?

    A

    Please discuss special dietary arrangements with campsite staff when ordering meals.

    [Dining] Can campers arrange their meals if the meal menu or meal times are not suitable?

    A

    Bringing outside food is prohibited by the campsite. If needed, please discuss with campsite staff when ordering meals for special arrangements.

    [Dining] Can meals be consumed in meeting rooms/activity rooms?

    A

    Eating is not allowed in indoor areas other than the canteen.

    [Transportation] How do I get to the campsite?

    A

    MTR:

    • Hong Kong University Station, Exit A1, transfer to buses 4, 4X, 7, 30X, 37A, 40, 40M, 71, 90B, 91, 970, 970X, 973 towards Aberdeen
    • Kennedy Town Station Exit A, transfer to minibuses 23, 23M

    Bus:

    • Take buses 4, 7, 30X, 37A, 40M, 71, 91 from Central
    • Take buses 970, 970X, 973 from Kowloon

    Minibus:

    • Take minibus 22 from Exchange Square, Central
    • Take minibus 31 from Times Square, Causeway Bay
    • Take minibus to Aberdeen from Mong Kok, Golden Chicken Square

    [Transportation] Does the campsite provide shuttle bus services to the MTR station?

    A

    The campsite provides rehabilitation bus shuttle service to and from Kennedy Town MTR Station. The shuttle has 12 seats, 3 wheelchair spaces, an automatic lift, and secure wheelchair locks. For shuttle bus arrangements, applicants must apply when booking a camp, and charges and details can be discussed with campsite staff.

    [Transportation] Does the campsite offer parking services?

    A

    The campsite does not provide parking services. It is recommended that campers park at the nearby ChiFu Landmark Shopping Centre.

  • Q

    [Others] If a camper feels unwell or has an accident at the campsite, in addition to immediately calling 999 for assistance, what should be done?

    A

    Please notify campsite staff immediately so that appropriate assistance can be provided.
