The Association held the "Happy Inclusive Volunteers Commendation Ceremony" at the Jockey Club PHAB Camp on March 29, 2025. This year's theme was "義事Easy Go" symbolizing how volunteer work can be integrated into daily life. It emphasized that as long as everyone takes the first step to participate, collective efforts can lead to greater impact and strength. The ceremony celebrated the development of volunteer services by the association over the past year, with nearly two hundred participants.
The ceremony was honored to have Ms. Fung Suk Man, District Welfare Officer of the Social Welfare Department in Sha Tin , Ms. Michelle Leung, Chief Leader of the Sun Hung Kai Properties Volunteer Team and Professor Frederick Ho, Chairman of the Association, as officiating guests. Witnessed by the board members, committee members, and representatives of nearly two hundred volunteers, the ceremony marked the beginning of volunteer service for the coming year.
During the event, in addition to insights shared by Ms. Leung, the Team Leader of the Sun Hung Kai Properties Volunteer Team, on developing corporate volunteer services, volunteers from different service units also shared their experiences participating in volunteer activities. The program also included dance and music performances, encouraging and inspiring each other to dedicate more care and enthusiasm to volunteer service.
In 2024, the Association accumulated a total of 15,658 volunteer service hours, with nearly 700 individuals participating in volunteer work. The Association expressed gratitude once again to various charitable parties, corporate partners, and volunteers for their active participation, enthusiastic public service, and community engagement, all contributing to the construction of a caring and inclusive society.
