Happy Inclusive Volunteers Commendation Ceremony

On March 21st, the Association hosted the "Joyful Inclusion Volunteer Award Ceremony" to honor the dedicated volunteers, caring partners, and corporate sponsors who have contributed tirelessly to our cause over the past year. The event was graced by the presence of Ms. Cheung Pui-shan, Sandy, JP, District Officer (Southern); Ms. Ms. CHAN Wai Sum, Anita from HandsOn Hong Kong; as well as the Vice-Chairman, Board Members, and Committee Members of the Association, alongside nearly 200 volunteer representatives.

The ceremony featured a series of vibrant performances, beginning with "CAN," a dance troupe formed by elderly members from the SKH Western District Elderly Community Centre, who performed popular K-pop hits such as "Golden" and "Like Jennie." Students from Hong Chi Morninglight School, Lion Club of Metropolitan Hong Kong, also delivered a heartwarming medley of classics, including "Let It Go," "Below the Lion Rock," and "We Will Rock You." Furthermore, award-winning volunteers from various service centres shared how they integrate the "4H" elements—Health, Harmony, Hobby, and Habit—into their daily routines, echoing the theme of the year: "Volunteerism as a Lifestyle."

The Association is proud to announce that the total volunteer service time reached over 20,000 hours this year, with 840 participants involved in our initiatives. This represents a significant increase of 4,400 service hours compared to the previous year—a testament to the unwavering commitment of our supporters. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all charitable organizations, corporate partners, and volunteers for their active participation and dedication to serving the community and building a more inclusive and caring society.
